This is number 1 of 5 from the Koleq series. Koleq series is my interpretations of the ups and downs, the success and failures, the hopes and despair, of the time spent at the Malay College Kuala Kangsar 1982-1986.

Koleq #1 visualizes the structured life as a first former at Prep School. Surrounded by the prefects, it seemed that in 1982, my life was well protected. Nevertheless, there had been episodes where the protectiveness had actually become the enemy for the first formers… whenever, somehow, the prefects could be seen by the innocent eyes of 13 year old kids, as tyrannical.

Nevertheless… 1982 was a sweet year.
